There are a variety of reasons why folks begin playing bingo, e.g., for cash, for company, for adrenaline rushes, or simply to have a good time. Highs and lows, thrill and chills, you name it – internet bingo provides all these and many more. Just as in any other game where risks are high, this heightened exhilaration has its own fair portion of favorable and detrimental affect on the players.
Bingo- The Anxiety Magnet
The excitement wrapped up in a night of bingo can drive a player to the opposite end of the spectrum. Becoming too engrossed in the game, one’s anticipation level could change; this could have an adverse outcome on those who have hyper tension or heart problems. According to some studies, individuals who play bingo are subject to get easily agitated and consequently have high-stress. It has been seen that work related stress is far lower than the anxiety created while competing in bingo. There have been several instances of players having been fired their place of work because of bingo-related anxiety affecting their proficiency at work.
Despite the previously stated risks, bingo can still be an enjoyable stress-reliever if players acknowledge that it is only a game, guard their health and constrain their behavior.
